Tour Plan
Pick up in the morning from your hotel or Kigali international airport, by our driver guide. Proceed with the drive northwards to Volcanoes National Park. En-route you will visit places such as the Museums, Genocide memorial site, the local handicrafts market, among others plus lunch in a restaurant in Kigali centre. You will arrive in the hotel for check in in the afternoon, for dinner and an overnight.
After an early morning breakfast, proceed to Kinigi Park headquarters for briefing by the Park warden. Thereafter walk through the lush forest to start the expedition of a lifetime.
Gorilla trekking, may last 2-6 hours depending on how swift you can spot them. Enjoy a trekking range with an hour of the presence of the gorillas. Return then to the Park headquarters to return to the lodge for lunch. At your own leisure, you will have an optional opportunity to visit the iby’lwacu cultural village after which you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Just like the previous day, you will rise up early for breakfast, then depart for another Gorilla trekking experience in Volcanoes National park, to trek another gorilla group. Return for lunch to the Lodge or take picnic lunches. Depending on your spotting of the Gorillas, proceed to visit the twin Lakes of Ruhondo and Burerara. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
Morning breakfast, leisure, check out of the Lodge journey back to Kigali to connect with your flight back home.
